Of course value wise MW comes up first every time since it’s part of the Warner stable that includes Seaworld and Wet & Wild, a season pass to all three costing only around $99 per adult head online.
At MW it’s a pain and once again can often only be fixed by either one of your group standing off the ride or by hiring a locker and constantly going back to it, or of course by leaving bags et. At DW this is handled with efficiency and elegance at every ride. There’s also MW’s less friendly approach to stowing personal loose items during rides. Many of the signature rides at MW are geared for the older crowd but unlike DW (where 120cm is standard across virtually the entire park), at MW the minimum height varies. Do that too many times and someone is going to miss out.

However for us, it didn’t work as well for our family. As a coaster fan, Movieworld is my favourite. Everyone here at Tripadvisor sings the family praises of Movieworld but for us (family of four with parents in the high ‘40s, 10yo girl and 6yo boy) the surprise winner for us would have to be Dreamworld.
